Engaged with Thanal in its sustainable agriculture team since 2008, Devi works to promote food free from GMOs and pesticides, urban farming and healthy food alternatives. She is a co-founder of Urban Leaves, an urban farming group in Mumbai, India.

Prior to 2008, she was actively working with non-profit organizations in the US, including a farmers' group in Kentucky and (Association for India's Development) AID, USA.

A post-graduate in Sociology from the US, Devi has had 14 years of professional experience in the domain of life insurance in public and corporate sectors in India.
